Concept development, event design and programming

Exciting event design, tailored theme and content creation, exceptional entertainment programming and subject development – explosivemedia’s creative vision delivers events ranging from major festivals to exclusive arts launches.

As producer of the City of Melbourne’s “Summer Fun in the Parks/City” from 2002–2008, explosivemedia was responsible for the programming and delivery of entertainment which captivated audiences for the summer months and resulted in a substantial  increase in attendance.

We’ve entertained 20,000 competitors at the 2002 World Masters Games’ “Welcoming Party”, filled the Burnley Tunnel with three kilometres of entertainment for its launch attended by over 50,000 visitors and produced “The Beach at the Arts Centre” for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. For the decade preceding the advent of Federation Square and integrated City of Melbourne New Year’s Eve events, explosivemedia produced “New Year’s Eve on the Yarra”, increasing crowds to over 100,000.

explosivemedia has also been engaged by Arts Centre Melbourne over the past 18 years, scoping and producing a range of exhibitions and multinational projects.

Curated by explosivemedia for four years from 2008, Bayside City Council’s “Bright n Sandy Food & Wine Festival” tripled in size and grew into a class of its own.

This same imaginative programming has added exquisite ambience to corporate and community launches, cocktail parties, gala events and exhibitions for an extensive range of corporate and government clients.

If you’ve been entertained by a roving street performer or band in Melbourne, chances are you’ve experienced explosivemedia’s extraordinary programming capabilities.
